Sherry G. Lundberg, M.S., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Dallas, Texas.  She has over 25 years experience with issues such as relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, stress caused by current events and trauma related to childhood. 

Counseling intervention may be short-term with focus on immediate problem solving or longer term which allows for root causes of difficulties to be explored.  Clients are active in making decisions about what form of counseling would be most helpful.

Counseling Options:

- Individual counseling provides support and insight and the relief of painful symptoms such as depression.

- Couple counseling is a unique opportunity to help partners improve understanding, empathy and communication.  Problem areas are identified and specific goals are set.

  1. -Family counseling may be helpful.  Adolescence can be difficult.  Some teens are depressed while others are anxious or angry.  Depending on family preferences, there may be adolescent-parent sessions or individual sessions. A plan focuses on specific goals and steps to be taken.

- Executive coaching for individuals who have difficulty on the job with co-workers and/or management.

The counselor’s role is to evaluate and make recommendations.  Educated with this information, the client chooses what course to pursue.
